On 6-8 March 2019, the Royal Thai Embassy arranged a visit to the Thai Horizontal Military Engineering Company (HMEC), which is deployed to the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), and the Thai community in Juba, South Sudan. During the visit, the overseas general elections and consular services were facilitated to Thai nationals. Ambassador Cherdkiat Atthakor also met with UNMISS high rankings, including Ms. Unaisi L. Vuniwapa, Police Commissioner, Lt. Gen. Frank Mushyo Kamanzi, Force Commander and Mr. Moustapha Soumaré, Deputy Special Representative of Secretary-General respectively.

          เมื่อวันที่ 6-8 มีนาคม 2562 สถานเอกอัครราชทูตราชทูต ณ กรุงไนโรบีไปเยี่ยมเยียนกองร้อยทหารช่างเฉพาะกิจไทย/เซาท์ซูดาน ในภารกิจ UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) และชุมชนไทยในกรุงจูบา ประเทศเซาท์ซูดาน ในโอกาสนี้ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้อำนวยความสะดวกการเลือกตั้งนอกราชอาณาจักรและให้บริการกงสุลสัญจร รวมทั้ง นายเชิดเกียรติ อัตถากร เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้เข้าพบหารือกับผู้บริหารระดับสูงของ UNMISS ได้แก่ Ms. Unaisi L. Vuniwapa ตำแหน่ง Police Commissioner, Lt. Gen. Frank Mushyo Kamanzi ตำแหน่ง Force Commander และ Mr. Moustapha Soumaré ตำแหน่ง Deputy Special Representative of Secretary-General โดยลำดับ
